Our Mission:

To enhance oral health through education and access to care for all individuals and families.

We have an experienced, dedicated, friendly staff of professionals offering full-service dental care to adults and children.

We are currently accepting new or returning children and adults to our practice. We welcome patients who are self-pay, covered by insurance, or covered by NH Medicaid. In most circumstances, payment is expected at the time of visit.

As a 501c3 non-profit practice, we are run by the Sullivan County Oral Health Collaborative and governed by a Board of Directors who are members of the local community. Unlike most dental practices, we are not owned by individual dentists or by a corporation.

We also operate the Sullivan County Dental Initiative (SCDI) which offers in-school education, oral health screening, preventive treatment, and referrals to children in Sullivan County. Read more about SCDI below.

Please call our office at (603) 287- 1300 to schedule an appointment or if you have any questions, are experiencing a dental emergency, or would like to discuss your child’s or your own oral health care.

We look forward to serving you!

Sullivan County Dental Initiative: A program of the Sullivan County Oral Health Collaborative

Community Dental Care of Claremont is proud to operate the Sullivan County Dental Initiative (SCDI) which offers iin-school education, oral health screening, preventive treatment and referrals to children in Sullivan County.

Under the management of a Certified Public Heath Dental Hygienist, the preventive on-site dental services include dental cleanings, sealants, temporary fillings, fluoride varnish and decay stopping fluoride (SDF) and case management. The Sullivan County Dental Initiative provides screenings and on-site preventive care to over 800 children in dental need throughout Sullivan County, concentrating on ages 1- 12.

“You probably never would have guessed it, but of one of the front lines of public health in New Hampshire is on the second floor of an elementary school in Claremont…The last Statewide dental survey of 3rd graders in 2014, found the overall untreated tooth decay rate had dropped 32 percent but the children in the poorest school districts had more than twice as much decay history as children in richer districts. Sullivan County was a bright spot in the data. Over the past 10yrs, Claremont’s rate of untreated decay dropped from 64% to 10%. In that time, Kyle Messier has seen nearly every child in the District.” -NHPR health reporter Jack Rodolico in an article about the state oral health in New Hampshire, 2015.
